The officials of Islamic Emirate Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Badakhshan drove a Ranger and announced through loudspeakers that all shopkeepers and car owners in Faizabad, the capital city of Badakhshan, should stop working when it is time for congregational prayers.In accordance with the new Taliban orders, women are denied free movement across the city and are urged to wear a complete Islamic Hijab, the report said.

47 former members of the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) including military personnel, police, intelligence service members, and militia were either killed or reported as disappeared, the report revealed. These ANSF members had either surrendered themselves to the Taliban forces or were captured forcefully by the terrorist troops between August 15 and October 31, it added.

In addition to this, a mandated requirement for women television journalists to wear Islamic hijabs while presenting their reports had also been issued by the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice under the Talib. IS-claimed blasts raise concerns in Afghanistan

Spokesman for the Interior Ministry Qari Sayed Khosti confirmed the blasts on Twitter, saying one people was killed and six others were injured, and all the victims were civilians, reports Xinhua news agency. Without providing more details, the spokesman said an investigation had been initiated into the attacks.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Taliban Spokesperson Suhail Shaheen said the takeover of Kabul by the Taliban "opened up a new phase" of investments and joint ventures in Afghanistan. The spokesperson further said that the Taliban regime was complying with the Doha agreement and the government would not let international terrorist outfits operate on its soil, the report said.

Chairing a meeting with visiting Afghan acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi on Thursday, Qureshi said, Pakistan is committed to peace, stability and progress in Afghanistan, a statement by the Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said. Qureshi also outlined Pakistan's efforts for providing humanitarian and economic support to Afghanistan given the challenges being faced by the Afghan people, added the statement.
