OPPO's Find X2 series, Reno6 series in India will feature ColorsOS 12

Find X2 will receive the update on Wednesday while the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G and Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali edition will receive it from November 22 onwards, and the Reno6 5G from November 25. The company said in a statement that the update will be included in more and more models, such as, the OPPO Find, Reno, F and A series to let more users enjoy ColorOS' inclusive design, smooth experience, and newest features.
Apple may sell 80mn iPhones this quarter

According to investment bank Wedbush lead analyst Daniel Ives, the delivery times for Apple's iPhone 13 Pro are continuing to extend and the demand is outstripping supply by about 15 per cent, reports AppleInsider.
Xiaomi working with Leica for upcoming smartphone: Report

A fresh leak by Digital Chat Station suggests that two companies have struck a deal for the upcoming Xiaomi 12 lineup. The Chinese tipster recently shared an image of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which showed the Leica branding on its secondary display. This indicates that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra may feature Leica optimised cameras, reports GizmoChina.
Samsung invests record $13.4 bn in R&D through Q3

Samsung invested a total of 16.19 trillion won ($13.73 billion) in R&D in the January-September period, up 289 billion won from a year earlier, to mark its largest spending ever during the cited period, according to its quarterly business report.

Samsung to increase production of foldables next year: Report

According to The Elec, the company will aim for 6.9 million units of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and 2.9 million of the Z Fold4. For comparison, the 2021 models targeted 4 million for the Z Flip3 and 3 million for the Z Fold3. Samsung is reportedly planning to manufacture 14 million Galaxy S22 phones, 8 million S22+ and 11 million S22 Ultras.
realme reaches 200 exclusive stores in India

The stores are now operational and will enable users to experience all the latest realme products. The company is also looking at expanding its offline presence to more than 1,000 exclusive stores by the end of 2022.
No supply pangs for smartphone camera resolution yet: Report

In main cameras on the front, the share of 20MP and above resolutions almost stayed flat (on-quarter) in Q2 2021 due to the decline in sales of high-end models. According to the latest data from Counterpoint Research, the share of 64MP sensors alone increased 3.5 per cent (on-quarter) to 14 per cent in Q2 2021.

Samsung takes the second spot with 16 per cent of the market share, according to CMR's ‘India Mobile Handset Market Review Report for Q3 2021' released on Monday. 5G smartphones now capture 22 per cent of the total market share of overall smartphone shipments and over 20 5G-capable smartphones were launched in this quarter, as per the report.
