Samsung says 'get ready to unfold' on Aug 11 with new devices

Samsung is expected to unveil latest foldable smartphones with lower price tags compared with its predecessors. The company is also expected to unveil, a Galaxy FE phone, two Galaxy Watches and a set of new Galaxy Buds. Galaxy Z Fold3 might come with support for the S Pen Pro.
Samsung launches upgraded modular 'The Wall' display

Samsung, the world's largest TV vendor, said the new modular display comes with enhanced micro artificial intelligence (AI) processor for better upscaling function. It also applied an emitting device 40 percent smaller than existing models to deliver better gradation and perfect black, reports Yonhap news agency. The latest Wall also supports 8K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung's Watch4 series to offer new chipset, more storage

For reference, all Samsung Watches dating back to 2018's Galaxy Watch have utilised the 10nm Exynos 9110. The new report specifies the W920 SoC will offer "1.25x faster processing times compared to the Exynos 9110" and "8.8x smoother graphics performance".
Samsung to launch new foldable phones with lower price tags

The South Korean tech giant is expected to start sales of the Galaxy Z Fold3 at around 1.99 million won ($1,744), which is 17 percent lower than the 2.39 million won set for the previous model, according to the sources. The price of the Galaxy Z Flip3 is also expected to be around 22 percent lower than the predecessor at 1.28 million won, reports Yonhap news agency.
