Deepika and Ranveer accompanied Prakash Padukone for the Indian Sports Honours event recently. As they stepped in front of the shutterbugs, Ranveer extended his arm to hold Deepika's hand. However, Deepika completely ignored him and went on to hold her saree.

The 'Dil Dhadakane Do' star also spoke to Pakistani female education activist Malala Yousafzai. Giving insight into Ranveer's interaction, a source said: "Being a movie star, Ranveer's conversation with actors present at the game were about films. With Ben Affleck it was about the trailer of his upcoming film 'Air' and VFXA in general, with Vin Diesel he spoke about.

Ranveer, who has been the brand ambassador for NBA India since 2021, represented India and joined the likes of Marvel superhero Simu Liu, wrestler The Miz, star of the movie 'Glass Onion' Janelle Monae, rapper 21 Savage, and many other celebs and entertainers at the 2023 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

In the clip, Ranveer looked confident about his rapping skills in front of celebs like Hollywood stars Simu Liu, Janelle Monae, and Nicky Jam. The clip begins with Minhaj saying: "All we gotta do, everybody, is get Ranveer Singh on the boards today. On behalf of 4.561 billion people in Asia, let's get Ranveer a bucket."

The actor took to his Instagram shortly after the arrival of 2023 and shared a clip from the 1994 Tom Hanks' classic 'Forrest Gump'. It shows Hanks' titular character wishing a happy New Year to Gary Sinise's character of Lieutenant Dan Taylor, who lost his limbs during the Vietnam War. As Forrest wishes him, Gary sits in silence contemplating the void brought upon him by life.

Ranveer had joined Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan at the PKL final in India before he jetted off to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup final. The kabaddi championship was held in Mumbai.

Rohit says that he has hidden talents and asks Ranveer to show his rap. Ranveer surprises the contestants, judges, and Jacquline Fernandes with his rendition of the song 'Meri Baatein Sunkar Hasna Nahi' featured on Govinda from his 1995 film Gambler also starring Shilpa Shetty. The song was originally sung by Devang Patel.

The star couple are known for their open public display of affection. However, this time it was Ranveer who took the cake for showing love.

He says: "Rohit Sir made me rehearse the scene way before we started shooting, to perfect the reaction of a person getting electrified. We rehearsed so much that our scenes look very natural and are not overdone. It is not a situation where you can take real-life experience and perform."

As part of the promotions, Ranveer has been visiting the sets of popular television shows like Chala Hawa Yeu Dya, Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra, The Kapil Sharma Show and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs. Since everyone on these sets want pictures with Ranveer, he prefers taking individual photos instead of a group picture to make everyone feel special.
