Assam CM attacks Congress over Twitter post
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday fired a fresh salvo at the Congress over a tweet by the party. The Congress' tweet read: "To free the country from shackles of hate and undo the damage done by BJP-RSS. Step by step, we will reach our goal. The party also shared a picture showing a partially burnt RSS uniform, mentioning that "145 days more to go".

Both the Gandhians - Gopinathan Nair and K.E. Maman - are highly respected in the state. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma once again mocked Rahul Gandhi on Friday which irked the Congress party. Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, Sarma shared a parody video of Rahul Gandhi. The character portrayed as former Congress president can be seen dancing over the song, 'Rahul Mera Naam, Record Mera Badnam'.
BJP takes dig at Rahul Gandhi over 'Rs 41K' T-shirt
The BJP tweeted, "Bharat, dekho (India look)," and posted two photos, one of Rahul Gandhi wearing a T-shirt and the other showing the price of a T-shirt similar to the one he was wearing. The BJP claimed that the Burberry T-shirt cost Rs 41,257. Burberry, which is a British luxury fashion brand, is not available in India and it has to be purchased internationally if needed.

The former Congress President Rahul Gandhi said, "The RSS-BJP have their opinions about this Yatra, they are welcome to have their opinions, but the Congress party through the Yatra is attempting to undo the damage done by the BJP in the last eight years. They have divided the country."
Rahul to stay in container till conclusion of Bharat Jodo Yatra
About 60 large freight containers equipped with sleeping beds, toilets, air-conditioners and other facilities have been put up keeping in mind the varying degrees of temperature, humidity and environmental aspects that Rahul Gandhi and those part of the Yatra would be facing in the next five months.

The Congress had made a livestreaming arrangement for its over 3,570 km yatra, which will traverse through 12 states and two union territories.
'Bharat Jodo Yatra': Rahul Gandhi starts walking from Kanyakumari
The yatra will traverse 12 states and 2 Union Territories while party leader K.C. Venugopal said: "We have not involved the poll-bound states of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh." However, all the party's state organisations will take a separate padyatra in their respective states for one month while all the blocks took out a padyatra on Wednesday.
