Congress ignores veterans in Bharat Jodo Yatra, celebrates Ladakh win
The complaint comes as the party's Bharat Jodo Yatra is progressing. It will culminate in Kashmir, where Karan Singh's father Hari Singh was the erstwhile ruler before acceding to India. He expressed his disappointment at not being invited to join the Bharat Jodo Yatra, saying it seems that the party doesn't need him anymore.

Reacting to the incident, Kerala Congress unit Chief K. Sudhakaran tweeted, "Three party workers involved in an unacceptable incident in Kollam have been suspended with immediate effect. They do not represent our ideology and such behaviour is inexcusable. The party is crowdfunding small donations voluntarily unlike others who get corporate donations. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh also came down heavily over the incident.

Congress to step up Bharat Jodo Yatra in other states from Sep 16
Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said, "Me and Digvijaya Singh will visit Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha from September 16 onwards. Our effort would be to mobilise the state units to join the Bharat Jodo Yatra." The Congress wants all the state units to participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra, starting the exercise from the block level.
Assam CM attacks Congress over Twitter post
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday fired a fresh salvo at the Congress over a tweet by the party. The Congress' tweet read: "To free the country from shackles of hate and undo the damage done by BJP-RSS. Step by step, we will reach our goal. The party also shared a picture showing a partially burnt RSS uniform, mentioning that "145 days more to go".
Rahul skips inauguration of memorial of Kerala Gandhians, state chief apologises
Both the Gandhians - Gopinathan Nair and K.E. Maman - are highly respected in the state. Rahul Gandhi was passing near the Noorul Islam Medical Sciences (NIMS) at Neyyatinkara during his Yatra and the organisers of the Kerala leg of the journey had agreed that he would inaugurate the memorials of the two Gandhians, constructed at the hospital building.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma once again mocked Rahul Gandhi on Friday which irked the Congress party. Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, Sarma shared a parody video of Rahul Gandhi. The character portrayed as former Congress president can be seen dancing over the song, 'Rahul Mera Naam, Record Mera Badnam'.
BJP takes dig at Rahul Gandhi over 'Rs 41K' T-shirt
The BJP tweeted, "Bharat, dekho (India look)," and posted two photos, one of Rahul Gandhi wearing a T-shirt and the other showing the price of a T-shirt similar to the one he was wearing. The BJP claimed that the Burberry T-shirt cost Rs 41,257. Burberry, which is a British luxury fashion brand, is not available in India and it has to be purchased internationally if needed.
