Day 1 of Myntra's EORS-15 witnesses 1.6 mn shoppers purchasing 3.5 mn products
The company said that over 7 lakh items were purchased within the first 3 hours of the mega fashion carnival that went live in the wee hours of December 18. "Day one of EORS-15 has been phenomenal. With 1.6 million shoppers so far and over 40 per cent growth in new users shopping on Myntra over the previous winter edition, day 1 of EORS-15 has broadly exceeded our as well as our brand partners' expectations," Sharon Pais, Chief Business Officer, Myntra, said in a statement.
Myntra registers biggest-ever opening day for its Big Fashion Festival
The opening day saw an overwhelming response with over 19 million visitors from across the country, making it Myntra's highest-ever Day 1 of BFF thus far. The first day of the eight-day event witnessed customers shopping over 4 million items, of which 40 per cent of the orders were from Tier 2 and 3 cities and beyond.
Myntra's day 1 of EORS brings joy of shopping to 12L customers
Nearly 53 per cent of first-time customers came from Tier 2-3 and beyond making their first purchase on Myntra, giving the 14th edition a major fillip. In the biggest ever spike, one million new customers installed the Myntra app, making the most of the day 1 value offers. Myntra witnessed 6 times growth over BAU on the first day, with a majority of shoppers placing orders for men's casual wear.
