Police hunts for man who justified Shraddha killing
In the video that is now viral on social media, Rashid can be heard saying that "when one is in a fit of rage, he can cut anyone into 36 pieces, instead of just 35." When asked whether he was justifying the murder, Rashid says that 'It happens'. "If I am in a rage, I may also behave similarly," he says.

"I was provoked because of which I hit," said Poonawalla in Saket court where he was produced before a metropolitan magistrate through video conferencing as his police custody ends on Tuesday, claimed his lawyer. The court extended his police custody by four more days.

Shraddha, who was beaten up and strangled to death and then chopped into 35 pieces by Aftab, had conversations with her friends and a co-worker either on WhatsApp or Instagram. She had told them that she has been physically assaulted by Aftab since the beginning of their relationship.

AS the investigation is still underway, police teams have visited and conducted searches to recover more remains of the 27-year-old victim, Shraddha Walkar, at the Mehrauli forest. The South district police teams have also contacted their counterparts for in east district's Pandav Nagar police station to help out in a DNA test after some remains, including a head, were recovered in Trilokpuri area in June.

Her live-in partner, Aftab Ameen Poonawaalla has been arrested for allegedly killing her and then chopping her body into 35 pieces to dispose it off. The screenshot showed Shraddha sending a text message to her friend at 4.34 p.m. on May 18. "Dude, I've got news. I got super busy with something," it read.

For the second time on Tuesday morning, the police team took the accused Aftab Ameen Poonawala to the Mehrauli forest area to recover the remains of the body of Shraddha Walker which the accused chopped into 35 pieces. He was first taken to the area on Monday.
