The five accused, Mazhar Khan, Sadiq Shaikh, Mohammad Iqbal Khan, Momin Mistry and Aasif Hussain Khan, were arrested last year for allegedly indulging in unlawful activities and waging a war against the country. They have been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

Nawab Malik's custody extended till March 7

Malik was produced before the court after the expiry of remand. The ED officials told the court that Malik was required for further interrogation. The court after hearing their argument allowed his custody till March 7. On February 23, the ED had arrested Malik and got his custodial remand till March 3.
