With Tamil director Atlee's vigilante actioner 'Jawan', starring SRK, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupati, crossing the box office collections of the year's other big hit, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's 'Gadar 2', in just nine days, SRK now carries the distinction of leading this year's two certified blockbusters -- 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'.

SRK spoke with IMDb for their brand-new segment titled 'Icons Only'. The first guest in the segment was global star Shah Rukh Khan.

Released on September 7, 'Jawan' till date has notched up a gross earning (that is, including 18 per cent GST) of Rs 343.8 crore in India and another Rs 177 crore worldwide, according to the trade website Sacnilk.com. That adds up to a worldwide collection of Rs 520.80 crore.

SRK's blockbuster 'Jawan' went house full on the first day of its release in its early morning shows, and even went on to create mass hysteria among fans.

Based on preliminary reports, which are bound to be revised as the day progresses, the trade website Sacnilk reports that the net earnings of 'Jawan' (that is, total ticket minus 18 per cent GST) added up to Rs 65 crore, a substantial Rs 10 crore more than 'Pathaan'.

By all standards, his latest, 'Jawan', is slightly hurried, though not in the least shoddy in terms of production values, and still manages to be an intoxicating blend of disparate ingredients. But am I complaining? Nah!
