Palestinian protesters injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers

The clashes broke out on Friday near the village of Beita, south of the West Bank city of Nablus, reports Xinhua news agency. Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition, rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at the protesters, who threw stones at the soldiers, waved Palestinian flags and chanted anti-Israel slogans, said the witnesses.

Isaac Herzog sworn in as Israel's president

In his first speech as president, Herzog vowed to serve the entire citizens of Israel. In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 20-year-old Mohammed Hassan from the Qusra village, southeast of Nablus, was killed on Saturday after being shot on his chest by Israeli soldiers, reports Xinhua news agency. Witnesses said that Hassan was at the roof of his house and died from a stray gunshot fired by Israeli soldiers during clashes with Palestinian demonstrators in the village.
Israel strikes Gaza after incendiary balloons launched

The sources said that late Saturday night, the Israeli war jets fired two missiles at a military training post south of Gaza city that belongs to al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Hamas movement, Xinhua news agency reported.Several missiles also targeted various Hamas military posts in northern and western Gaza, said the sources. No injury was reported.
Israel to upgrade Sri Lankan Air Force's Kfir aircraft

Israel, US, UK complete joint F-35 jet drills

The drill called "Tri-Lightning 2" was held jointly by the Israeli Air Force, the US Marine Corps, and the UK's Royal Air Force, the military said in a statement on Tuesday. The forces carried out various aerial scenarios, including "air-to-air combat, avoidance manoeuvering of advanced surface-to-air threats, as well as targeted strikes deep in enemy territory", the statement read.
