The 34-year old Ali, who was retained by CSK for Rs 8 crore, has been awaiting clearance of his travel documents by the Indian High Commission in the UK.

Batter Khaya Zondo on Thursday earned his maiden Test call-up in the 15-member South Africa squad for the two-match home Test series against Bangladesh. Zondo, who has played six ODIs for South Africa, has been a consistent performer for Dolphins in South Africa's domestic 4-day tournament. In the last two domestic seasons, he has scored 786 runs in 13 matches at an average of 52.40.

South Africa are likely to field a depleted squad for the two home Tests against Bangladesh starting March 18, with all their red-ball players choosing to play for various franchises in the IPL 2022. Hardik Pandya joins NCA camp ahead of IPL 2022

India's U19 World Cup-winning captain Yash Dhull, Sarfaraz Khan, Chetan Sakariya, Ripal Patel, Praveen Dubey, Ashwin Hebbar, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and off-spinner Vicky Ostwal were among those who reached Mumbai on Thursday. DC Assistant Coach Pravin Amre also joined the team bio-bubble. The players and coaches will undergo a mandatory three-day quarantine before stepping out of their rooms.
