Global Cloud infrastructure spending to reach $90 bn in 2022: IDC

In 2021, the cloud infrastructure spending reached $73.9 billion, up 8.8 per cent over 2020. In Q4 2021, it increased 13.5 per cent (year over year) to reach $21.1 billion. This marked the second consecutive quarter of year-over-year growth as supply chain constraints have depleted vendor inventories over the past several quarters.

In a letter to the ministry, the FPCE said that RERA authorities are randomly giving blanket extensions even when there was no work stoppage nor complete lockdown announced either by the Centre or by any state government. "The states of Maharashtra, UP, and Karnataka have recklessly, in blatant disregard to home buyer rights, have given another extension to the real estate projects," it said.

483 infra projects report cost overrun of Rs 4.4 lakh cr

The Flash Report for central sector projects for July released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation showed that 504 projects are running behind schedule. The total original cost of implementation of the 1,781 projects was Rs 22,82,160.40 crore and their anticipated completion cost is likely to be Rs 27,25,408.00 crore, which reflects overall cost overruns of Rs 4,43,247.60 crore.
