Antonio Guterres says India considers Kashmir bilateral matter, turns down mediation offer

Antonio Guterres, who is on a visit to Pakistan to show "solidarity" with the victims of the floods, told reporters: "On the other hand, we have been very active in relation to the clear affirmation that human rights must be respected". Addressing a news conference in Islamabad with Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at his side, he said that he was "always offering" his good offices for mediation".
Lahore traders seek permission for vegetable import from India

LCCI President Nauman Kabir urged the government to grant permission to import vegetables from India to control its prices, Geo News reported. Pakistan to attend counter-terror drills in India for 1st time

The counter-terrorism exercises are scheduled to be held in October in Manesar, Haryana, under the banner of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), The Express Tribune reported. Hindu family attacked in Pakistan for trying to overtake influential person's vehicle

The attackers who arrived in a Vigo after "tracing" the family smashed the car and hurt Ajay Kumar, who was present in the car.
