'A Quiet Place Part III', 'Sonic the Hedgehog' sequel in works

The third installment of the post-apocalyptic horror film 'A Quiet Place' is set to debut in 2025. The film will act as a direct sequel to the 2021's pandemic-era box office hit 'A Quiet Place Part IIa'. As per Variety, the move came as a part of Paramount Pictures' annual investor day presentation on Tuesday (U.S. Pacific Standard Time). In their upcoming theatrical film slate, the studio announced plans for 'A Quiet Place 3' as well as another sequel to 'Sonic the Hedgehog'.

Chinese fans of David Fincher's cult classic were enraged over the weekend when they noticed a version of the movie available on popular Chinese streaming platform Tencent Video completely removing its iconic ending, the report said. The finale of 'Fight Club' had shocked audiences when the film hit theatres in 1999.
'Spider-Man' producer says a new trilogy with Tom Holland in the works

Pascal added: "We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We're thinking of this as three films, and now we're going to go onto the next three. Scorsese, Szabo recall how Satyajit Ray touched them personally

In his message, Szabo paid a personal tribute to Satyajit Ray, the master whose birth centenary is being celebrated this year. Throughout Friday, 'No Time to Die' tracked comfortably at the top of the Chinese chart, with market share as high as 55 per cent in the morning sessions. By midnight local time, that had fallen to 49 per cent and the film grossed $7.76 million, including online fees, according to ticketing agency and industry tracker Maoyan, reports variety.com. Including midnight previews, Bond's day one aggregate hit $8.12 million. The last Bond film, 'Spectre', opened with a $44 million first weekend in China back in 2015 before going on to achieve an $84 million lifetime score in the Middle Kingdom.
