According to the HP community forum, a recent firmware upgrade for printers has disabled the use of non-HP ink as part of the company's strict "dynamic security" policy, reports The Verge. Dynamic security, a part of HP's cartridge authentication process that was first introduced in 2016, is designed to "protect the quality of our customer experience, maintain the integrity of our printing systems, and protect our intellectual property."

The company plans to open 40 OMEN Playground stores across the country this year. As of now, eight OMEN Playground stores are functioning in seven cities. The technology company unveiled eight OMEN Playground stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Ludhiana and Hubli and will soon expand its network of OMEN Playground stores in cities.

The laptops, offering a 15.6-inch OLED touch display and a durable 360-degree hinge, are available from a starting price of Rs 82,999. "HP's new Envy x360 15 portfolio enables content creators to express themselves through best-in-class display and smart, high-performance productivity features that liberate creativity and expression," said Vickram Bedi.

While the regular Voyager Free 60s come with a plain old charging case, the Plus model offers an OLED touchscreen that lets users control music playback, volume, and settings, see your battery status, and accept or reject calls, reports The Verge. Moreover, users will also be able to use the screen to switch between two connected devices -- the buds support multipoint pairing and can remember up to eight connections.

Nearly 77 per cent of employees prefer a hybrid model, but being productive in a hybrid environment comes with challenges, the company said in a statement. The HP Dragonfly G4, HP EliteBook 1040 G10 and HP Elite x360 1040 G10 laptops offer "collaboration experiences with new intuitive video conferencing innovations to recharge hybrid work".

"HP's Smart Tank is designed for small businesses, entrepreneurs and people who print a lot at home and need a smarter, more connected printing experience at an affordable cost," Sunish Raghavan, Senior Director, Printing Systems, HP India Market said in a statement.

"We built the thinnest laptop, HP Pavilion Plus 14-inch, to cater to the hybrid lifestyle based on deep consumer insights. This PC and the Pavilion x360 14-inch devices are intended to offer exceptional experiences, so users remain connected, engaged, and productive," said Vickram Bedi, Senior Director, Personal Systems, HP India.

With a starting price of Rs 67,999, the latest generation of HP's gaming portfolio comprises new OMEN 16, OMEN 17, Victus 15, and Victus 16 laptops that are powered by Intel Core 12th Gen and AMD Ryzen 6000 series processors. Vickram Bedi, Senior Director (Personal Systems), HP India Market, told IANS that the company is seeking to mainstream its offerings by catering to the needs of both casual and professional gamers.

Starting at Rs 55,999, the all-new Pavilion series -- HP Pavilion 15, HP Pavilion 14 and HP Pavilion x360 -- are designed with the environment in mind, with an all-metal laptop built that contains ocean-bound plastics and recycled aluminum.

The device is available for $499 while the package that includes the keyboard accessory will cost $599, reports GizmoChina. The HP 11-inch Windows tablet comes with an 11-inch screen, which has a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. The tablet has an 84.6 per cent screen to body ratio and supports 100 per cent of the sRGB colour gamut. Under the hood, the HP tablet features an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, which has four cores and up to 3.2GHz of CPU clock speed.
