Man killed on Singhu border belonged to Punjab: Haryana Police

A police spokesperson said that on Friday, the police in Kundli got information that Nihangs had tied a person to a barricade with his hand chopped off near the protest site. It is being alleged that the man was caught while desecrating the Sikh religious holy book. However, an official confirmation about this is still awaited.
Haryana ranked fastest growing state: NITI Aayog Adviser

The workshop was organised by the Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM). Haryana CM meets PM, briefs about farmers protest, Karnal incident

The meeting was held at the Prime Minister's residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg here. "I briefed the Prime Minister about new schemes and initiatives launched in the state. I also briefed the Prime Minister about ongoing farmers protest and the incident happened in Karnal," Khattar said after the meeting. Haryana to reopen schools for Class 1 to 3 from Sep 20

The Haryana government has decided to reopen the government and private schools for Class 1 to 3 from September 20. However, the online mode of education will also continue. The students willing to attend the schools will have to seek written permission from their parents, an order of the Education Department said.

The paper suggests that there was no Aryan invasion in the Indus Valley Civilization and that all the activities in the South Asia region were carried out by indigenous people, Prof Vasant Shinde, lead author of the paper said. The findings came from a burial site in Rakhigarhi, which is one of the biggest Indus Valley Locations, spreading across 300 hectares.
Ex-Haryana CM Chautala finally clears Class 10 English paper

The board announced the results of the supplementary examination.Chautala last month passed the class XII exam but the result was withheld as he hadn't cleared the English paper for class X. He had enrolled in class XII of the board's Open School last year but exams couldn't be held because of the pandemic.
Haryana Health Minister Vij put on oxygen support

Dhruv Chaudhary, Head of Pulmonary Medicine Department of the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, who is monitoring Vij's condition, told the media that Vij was put on oxygen support at his residence in Ambala city, some 50 km from here. He said the minister's oxygen level dipped below 80 in the morning. By the evening the oxygen saturation reached 89, but it was still low.

Gurugram: Heavy rain, waterlogging throw life out of gear

According to the IMD, the sky will generally remain cloudy in Gurugram. The city may receive one or two spells of rain over the next 2-3 hours. Morning rush hour traffic was affected and the police struggled to keep the vehicles moving. The policemen were seen standing in knee-deep water while struggling to keep traffic going. Also, 3-4 feet of water accumulated at several city roads, including the city's bus stand in old Gurugram.
