'Renaissance', which was released on July 29, 2022, is the seventh studio album by Beyonce. It's Her first solo studio release since aLemonade' and is also the first instalment of a trilogy project. Beyonce wrote and produced the album with Nova Wav, The-Dream, Symbolyc One, A. G. Cook, Honey Dijon, Beam, Tricky Stewart, BloodPop, Skrillex, Hit-Boy, No I.D. and P2J.

The North Vancouver native won for writing tracks that included 'Can I Get It' from Adele, 'Boyfriends' sung by Harry Styles and 'Careless' performed by FKA Twigs and Toronto's Daniel Caesar. He was up against The-Dream, Amy Allen, Laura Veltz, and Nija Charles. This was Jesso's first-ever Grammy. Since releasing his 2015 album, 'Goon', he has focused mostly on writing songs for others.

After a show-opening performance from Bad Bunny and monologue from host Trevor Noah, Brandi Carlile helped kick off the 65th annual Grammys with her performance. She was joined by her regular band and backing vocalists Lucius for the segment, which was introduced by her wife Catherine Shepherd and two daughters, who promised the artist would "rock everyone's faces off."
