Google won't let users sign in on old Android devices from Sep 27

If you sign into your device after September 27, you may get username or password errors when you try to use Google products and services like Gmail, YouTube, and Maps. "If your device has the ability to update to a newer Android version (3.0+), we advise you to do so in order to maintain access to Google apps and services on that device," the company said in an update.

According to a report in The Verge on Friday, judge Amit Mehta said that "more information was required before the court could give guidance as to how much internal data Microsoft would be required to produce". The Google Voice users can now see why a call did not ring and what they can do to fix it by changing the settings. "Just go to the Missed Call details section or the Voicemail section (in case you received a voicemail for the call), and take the recommended steps in settings such as turning off the Do Not Disturb or setting the device to receive incoming calls," the company announced on Wednesday.

Jan Keller, technical programme manager for Google's VRP, wrote on a blogpost that the company is now unveiling a new platform -- bughunters.google.com -- for bug hunters to submit issues. "This new site brings all of our VRPs (Google, Android, Abuse, Chrome and Play) closer together and provides a single intake form that makes it easier for bug hunters to submit issues," Keller said.
