Google developing own CPUs for Chromebook laptops: Report

The US internet giant plans to roll out the CPUs for laptops and tablets, which run on the company's Chrome operating system, in around 2023, three sources with knowledge of the matter told Nikkei Asia. According to the report, Google is also ramping up its efforts to build mobile processors for its Pixel smartphones and other devices after announcing it will use in-house processor chips for the first time in its upcoming Pixel 6 series.

Google Pixel 5, Pixel 4a 5G discontinued: Report

According to The Verge, both are currently listed on Google's online store as sold out, and remaining stock at other retailers likely won't last long. "With our current forecasts, we expect Google Store in the US to sell out of Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 in the coming weeks following the launch of Pixel 5a (5G)," a company spokesperson told the tech website.
