Ranbir Kapoor practised Ido Portal fitness method for his 'Brahmastra' character

With the film scheduled to drop on OTT after its successful theatrical run, Ranbir said in a statement: "Shiva was a very complex character on paper. And we had to do a lot of prep to bring him to life. The way he walks, runs, fights, dances - almost every aspect of his physicality that involves movement- had to be designed."

The video, shared by Ranbir's wife and his co-star in the film, Alia Bhatt, on Instagram shows Ranbir making self-deprecating jokes about the number of times Alia says his character's name, Shiva in the film and how he hates to promote the film. At one point in the video, Ranbir also says that the film's director Ayan Mukerji feels that Ranbir has no life outside 'Brahmastra' when the actor is expecting his first child with Alia.

Days after its release, Neetu shared some of Ranbir's unseen shirtless pictures from his look test for the film in Bulgaria on her Instagram stories. The pictures were originally shared by Ranbir's trainer and lifestyle coach Kunal Gir. They show a shirtless Ranbir in low-waist jeans, with his six-pack abs stealing attention. Two pictures show the actor striking poses as if bringing his powers together, minus the VFX.

The singer explained how he bagged the song: "I was involved in the process of 'Brahmastra' for a while and initially I got to sing 'Rasiya' as a part of the background score in the film which was really appreciated and loved by the audience.
