While a majority who used Twitter in the past year report taking a break from the platform, a quarter of them say they are not likely to use it a year from now, according to the Pew survey conducted about five months after billionaire Elon Musk acquired the platform for $44 billion.

A Musk subscriber/follower by the name Daniel tweeted that "I love basic b**** Indian food, it's so insanely good", while posting a picture of mouth-watering butter chicken with naan and rice. The Tesla CEO replied: "True."

Musk said he will transition from his role as CEO of Twitter to serving as its executive chair and chief technology officer (CTO). "Excited to announce that I've a new CEO for X/Twitter. Twitter has launched two new features in DMs -- DM Replies, and a new Emoji Picker to DMs. As detailed in a tweet from the company's support account on Tuesday, with DM Replies, users can now reply to any message they receive in DMs, making conversations smoother and more intuitive. The company also "added a new Emoji Picker.

According to a Mashable report, Out of about 150,000 early Twitter Blue subscribers, "just around 68,157 have stuck around and maintained a paid subscription as of April 30". Citing data scraped by independent researcher Travis Brown, the report said that not many Twitter Blue subscribers are sticking around.
