BTS, YouTube announce 'Permission to dance' challenge for fans
The dance moves for this challenge are the "International Sign" gestures that the septet was seen doing in the music video, bearing the meaning "Joy", "Dance" and "Peace". As part of the challenge, BTS will spotlight some of their favourite shorts in a compilation video, so participants are encouraged to use hashtags #PermissiontoDance and #Shorts for their creations.
BTS' "Butter" tops Billboard Hot 100 chart for 7th week
The South Korean band BTS extended their reign on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Butter", remaining at the summit for seventh consecutive weeks. The song is also number 10 on the Pop Airplay chart, their second song so far to enter the top 10. This makes them the first Korean act to have multiple entries in the top 10 of the Pop Airplay chart.
BTS drops new single 'Permission to dance'
Belonging to the dance pop genre, "Permission to dance'' is another fun song coming from the band. Musician Ed Sheeran and British producer Steve Mac partook in making the number. The performance spotlights on BTS' energetic charms as usual, and the dance moves are easy to emulate, so anyone can effortlessly groove with the choreography.
