At the UN Assembly, BTS were introduced by South Korean President Moon Jae-In, who called them "probably the artistes most loved by people around the world," noting that they have been designated as the "special presidential envoy for future generations and culture."

Fellow K-pop superstars Blackpink have also been named as Sustainable Development Goals Advocates, joining an illustrious roster of advocates.

The BTS band took to Twitter and announced, "it's time! @bts_bighit is on #RELEASED on YT right now tune in before the premiere of the #PermissiontoDance challenge #YouTubeShorts video." During a video conversation with Chris Martin, BTS thanked the participants of the challenge. The Permission to Dance Challenge is a compilation of videos submitted by BTS fans dancing on their songs.

Guinness World Records announced this in a statement on Friday. "The Boys are in the book. After breaking countless records throughout 2021, they have also cemented their place in the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame," it said. Their list of accomplishments is truly impressive.

The remix comes days after Megan filed an emergency temporary restraining order against 1501 Certified Entertainment, alleging that her label was blocking her from appearing on a remix of BTS' Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash 'Butter'. On Tuesday, a Texas judge ruled in favor of her request to extend the TRO that permitted her to release the remix. The following day, both acts announced the remix according to Billboard.com.

In the podcast, five radio jockeys are seen disparagingly describing BTS as "Chinese backstreet boys". They alleged that "they have got surgeries done to look like a mix of Asians and North Americans." The fans, naturally, were upset and very soon the hashtag #WeDemandApology was trending at No.1 in India. Also trending was the related hashtag #StopAsianHate.

The dance moves for this challenge are the "International Sign" gestures that the septet was seen doing in the music video, bearing the meaning "Joy", "Dance" and "Peace". As part of the challenge, BTS will spotlight some of their favourite shorts in a compilation video, so participants are encouraged to use hashtags #PermissiontoDance and #Shorts for their creations.

The South Korean band BTS extended their reign on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Butter", remaining at the summit for seventh consecutive weeks. The song is also number 10 on the Pop Airplay chart, their second song so far to enter the top 10. This makes them the first Korean act to have multiple entries in the top 10 of the Pop Airplay chart.

Belonging to the dance pop genre, "Permission to dance'' is another fun song coming from the band. Musician Ed Sheeran and British producer Steve Mac partook in making the number. The performance spotlights on BTS' energetic charms as usual, and the dance moves are easy to emulate, so anyone can effortlessly groove with the choreography.
