CBSE Class 12 board result: Girls outshine boys again
This year, 92.71 per cent children have passed in Class 12. Among them, 94.54 per cent are girls and 91.25 per cent are boys. At the same time, 100 per cent transgender students have cleared the examinations. As always, this time too, the girl students have outshone the boys by 3.29 per cent. Thiruvananthapuram ranked first with the highest pass percentage followed by Bangalore, while Chennai stood third. Delhi has been ranked fourth.

The CBSE has dropped chapters about the Non-Aligned Movement, the Cold War era, the rise of Islamic empires in Afro-Asian territories, the chronicles of Mughal courts, and the industrial revolution from the history and political science syllabi of classes 11 and 12.
CBSE may restore pre-pandemic format for board exams
Following instructions from the ministry, CBSE may restore the pre-pandemic format of board exams from next year. Once the CBSE restores the old pattern of board exams, neither two phases nor flexible practical pattern will be available for the students.

The second term of the board examination will be held in a single shift at @10:30 am. The class 10th examination will be concluded on May 24 and for class 12th the exam will continue till June 15. Term I examinations for board exam classes were held in November-December, 2021. The results were announced on March 12, 2022. This is the first time that board examinations will be held in two sessions.
CBSE starts sending Class 12 part 1 results to schools
The students can contact their respective schools to get the results, an official said. Earlier, on last Saturday, the CBSE had released the results of the first term of Class 10 students in a similar way. The first term examination of class X and XII students were conducted in December last year. The results of both classes have been sent directly to the schools via offline mode. Students can also get it through the offline mode.

CBSE releases Term-II date sheet 2022 for class 10 and 12
The CBSE Class 10 and 12 examination will commence from April 26, 2022. The first term exams have already been held. As per the CBSE notification, the exams will be conducted in single shift and will start from 10.30 a.m. As the schools were closed due to the pandemic, the CBSE has given more gap between the two papers for almost all the subjects in both the classes.
