HarmonyOS 2 may soon exceed 100 million installations on Huawei devices with this speed. According to Yu Chengdong, the current figure shows that an average of 8 users upgrades to HarmonyOS 2 every second. As of now, the upgrade has covered nearly 100 models, including Huawei and Honor brand smartphones, tablets, and smart screens, reports GizChina.

An expansion in home market and R&D investments could be the foundation of Huawei's survival plan, said market research firm Strategy Analytics. The report said that although the carrier business revenue also dropped in the first half of 2021, the aggressive 5G network expansion by Chinese carriers is expected to boost Huawei's performance in the next few years.

According to GizmoChina, the Children's Watch 4 Pro is a smart wearable for children with several functions that will serve educational and safety purposes. The smartwatch features a 5MP front camera on a 1.41-inch AMOLED touch screen, and a comfortable wristband design. The report said that it equally features 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, respectively. It comes in two colours -- blue and pink -- and it weighs just 57.5 grams.

The Huawei P50 comes powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset and offers two storage variants -- 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage, reports GSMArena. The Huawei P50 Pro will come in two versions -- Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon 888. Interestingly, both versions only support 4G connectivity, even if both chipsets are capable of 5G, the report said.

The phone is said to be available in two models: 2GB RAM and 32GB storage and 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The former variant is tipped to sport a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera system, while the 3GB RAM model will have triple cameras that include a 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP secondary camera, and a 2MP sensor.
