A.R. Rahman: We must not limit ourselves to only Indian stories

"I can't say much because I've been in the industry for almost 40 years - ten years of playing outside as a musician and 30 years as a composer. I was a director for the sensory cinematic experience," he said. Rahman further shared that despite the fact we have our stories to tell, we must not restrict ourselves.

The 'Ala Vaikunthapuram Loo' actress used the hashtag 'Crafted in India' when she posted pictures of her new look on Instagram, indicating that the look was created by an Indian designer. She then expressed gratitude to Anurag Thakur for making it possible. She said, "I didn't come with a brand; instead, I came with brand India. As an Indian actor, I've come to celebrate Indian cinema."

Shooting now in France, the film is being helmed by Mathieu Vadepied, who made his directorial debut with 'Learn by Heart', which world premiered at Cannes' Critics Week. Vadepied also worked as the artistic director and cinematographer on 'Untouchable', Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano's 2010 comedy smash hit which marked Sy's acting breakthrough and earned him a Cesar nod, reports variety.com.
Payal Kapadia wins Best Documentary Award in Cannes
