According to CoinDesk, Genesis has accused Gemini, owned by the Winklevoss twins, of making substantial withdrawals just before Genesis filed for bankruptcy.

The development comes in response to notification issued by the Central government, dated October 3, 2023, providing that the moratorium under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 will not apply to aircraft, aircraft engines, airframes and helicopters governed by the Cape Town Convention.

The AEP is an indirect subsidiary of the Central Bank of UAE (CBUAE).

"The board of directors of the company has, at its meeting held today, appointed Kumar Mangalam Birla as an additional director (non-executive and non-independent) with effect from April 20, 2023," Vodafone Idea said in a stock exchange filing. Kumar Mangalam Birla is the Chairman of the multinational Aditya Birla Group, which operates in 36 countries across six continents.
