The actor was seen enjoying the street food and even welcomed the media at the event. The film, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aamir Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh, is all set to release in August. Aamir was seen clad in a white tee with harem pants and a pink shirt over it. He teamed it up with brown boots and his cool glasses.

“Aamir had reserved a special part for Salman in Laal Singh Chaddha, however, with the date of release nearing, he has decided to chop that off completely. While multiple attempts were made to shoot the cameo, the dates of Salman couldn’t match. So, he is no longer a part of Laal Singh Chaddha,” Bollywood Hungama reported quoting its source.

The statement comes after multiple reports surfaced on the Internet claiming that the release had been pushed back. To quash the rumours, the production house took to its social media handle on Friday. Its statement read: "Aamir Khan Productions' Laal Singh Chaddha's release date stands as Baisakhi, 14th April 2022, contrary to some misleading stories."

Written by Atul Kulkarni, the film is the Indian adaptation of Oscar winning film ‘Forrest Gump’ that was written by Eric Roth. Film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan and is directed by Advait Chandan. Music producer Pritam composed the music and Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics for the film.

Karnataka BJP MP objects to Aamir Khan ad against bursting crackers
In a letter written to the Managing Director and CEO of the company Anant Vardhan Goenka on October 14, Anantkumar objected to the advertisement where Bollywood star Aamir Khan advises people not to burst crackers on the streets. "The company should also address the problem of blocking of roads in the name of Namaz and sound pollution caused from mosques during Azaan," he said.
