In a tweet, Pawan Khera, who is chairman of the Congress media and publicity department said, "I am truly surprised at the speed with which AAP has extended support to the Uniform Civil Code. Even as other responsible parties wait for the draft proposal from the govt, does AAP have exclusive access to the draft of the UCC proposal?"

He said that his proclamation of opposition unity is not for cohesion but a calculated move to sabotage it and curry favour with the BJP. In a tweet, the former Union minister Maken said, “Arvind Kejriwal seeks Congress’s help for the ordinance, yet unabashedly ridicules our esteemed leaders, including Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan.”

"The way you (Kejriwal) are eagerly approaching us time and again shows there is some mischief," Rahul Gandhi reportedly said on Friday, claimed AAP sources. Sources said Kejriwal was the second person to speak during the opposition party meet. In the closed-door meeting, Kejriwal requested to have a cup of tea with the Congress leaders, AAP sources said.
AAP accuses Congress of not supporting it on Delhi ordinance row

The AAP said: "Until the Congress publicly denounces the Black Ordinance and declares that all 31 of its RS MPs will oppose the ordinance in the Rajya Sabha, it will be difficult for AAP to participate in future meetings of like-minded parties where the Congress is a participant."

"We want the Congress to clarify their stance on the ordinance matter. We requested a meeting with Congress leaders, but they were unavailable. Now, if the Congress doesn't support us on the ordinance issue during the opposition meeting tomorrow, the Delhi CM will walk out," said party sources.
Punjab Assembly passes Bill to replace Governor from Chancellor's post
If the Bill gets the Governor's consent, the Chief Minister would replace the Governor as the Chancellor of state-run universities.
Earlier, the Bill was tabled in the Vidhan Sabha that was supported by the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). The Congress was absent from the House.

Delhi court stays RS Secretariat's order evicting Raghav Chadha from official bungalow
Additional District Judge Sudhanshu Kaushik of Patiala House Courts said that it will, on July 10, determine the maintainability of Chadha's application against the Rajya Sabha Secretariat's decision to cancel the bungalow's allotment to him, following an order issued on March 3.
