Shraddha's ring that Aaftab had gifted to another girl whom he invited to his flat after killing her, has also been found, they said. Two days ago, the investigators had contacted a woman, who Aaftab met through the mobile dating application 'Bumble', the same platform where he had first met Shraddha. The woman is a psychologist by profession.

The test was left incomplete on November 25. A senior FSL official said that for the past three days, officials have been asking him questions and the polygraph test is likely to continue further. According to sources, Aaftab was asked about 50 to 60 questions on November 25, to which he replied in English and stayed calm during the entire session.

"The remaining polygraph test shall be conducted on Monday. Few things are yet to be completed. And for a narco test, polygraph test is mandetory," said Rajnish Kumar Singh, Assistant PRO, FSL, Rohini. Aaftab's polygraph test began on Tuesday. However, the test was postponed due to his health conditions.

Aaftab Amin Poonawalla was produced before the Saket court through video conferencing from the Ambedkar hospital, where he was taken for a medical check up. He will be shifted to Tihar jail. Further details are awaited. Sagar Preet Hooda, the Special Commissioner of Police (Law and order), has initiated the legal process for production of the accused for further proceedings in the polygraph test.

The police will most likely seek an extension as the investigation is yet to be completed. Due to investigators not able to extract the information needed to push the investigation further, Poonawalla's polygraph test was also left incomplete on Friday. Sources said that investigators need to extract information from Poonawalla and they need time for it.

The investigators along with Aaftab reached the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Rohini at around 4 p.m. and left at 6.30 p.m. Sources said the polygraph test was incomplete on Friday and another session will take place on Saturday. A senior FSL official said that for the past three days, officials have been asking Aaftab questions and the polygraph test is likely to continue further.

Teams of Delhi Police had visited Aaftab's house in Chattarpur on Wednesday. "Five knives were recovered during the search on Wednesday... It is not yet clear if they were used in dismembering Shraddha's body. The knives have been sent for forensic examination," the sources said. Meanwhile, a polygraph test on Aaftab is presently underway at the forensic science laboratory (FSL) in Rohini.

Aftab is accused of killing his live-in partner Shraddha and chopping her body into 35 pieces in May this year. Sources said that a pre-medical session to gain some preliminary information which will be later used to develop diagnostic questions, as well as a scientific session was conducted on Aftab at the FSL in Rohini on Tuesday evening.

Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who also holds the home portfolio, said he had seen the contents which were "very serious", and said the matter needs to be investigated. "Without blaming anybody, we need to know the truth... If the police had acted in a timely manner, this (killing of Shraddha by Poonawala) could have been avoided," Fadnavis told mediapersons.

Official sources said that a pre-medical session to gain some preliminary information which will be later used to develop diagnostic questions, as well as a scientic session was conducted on Aftab at the FSL office on Tuesday evening. "However, the main polygraph test which will involve a questionnaire prepared by the Delhi Police investigators will most likely be taken up on Wednesday."
