Zerodha's Co-founder and CEO, Nithin Kamath, shared on Monday that he experienced a mild stroke approximately six weeks ago, leaving him questioning how a physically fit individual like himself could be susceptible to such a health issue.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Kamath expressed that several factors such as the recent loss of his father, inadequate sleep, fatigue, dehydration, and excessive physical exertion could have contributed to his condition.
Despite the setback, Kamath assured his followers that he is on the road to recovery, noting improvements in his condition over time.
Reflecting on his health scare, Kamath pondered the unexpected nature of his stroke, given his active lifestyle and self-care habits. He emphasized the importance of recognizing when to slow down and prioritize well-being over relentless pursuit.
Accompanying his update was a photo from his hospital visit, where he maintained his determination by continuing his exercise regimen despite his condition.
Meanwhile, Zerodha, the brokerage firm led by Kamath, reported impressive financial figures for the fiscal year 2022-23. The company witnessed significant growth in both revenue and profit, indicating its strong performance in the market.
