Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has extended its partnership with Aviva, the UK's leading insurance, wealth, and retirement provider, for a 15-year expansion. The collaboration will see TCS' subsidiary, Diligenta, manage over 5.5 million policies on behalf of Aviva, focusing on end-to-end policy administration and servicing. The companies plan to enhance the customer experience using TCS' BaNCS™-based digital platform, expanding its use to administer other Aviva books of business.
While the deal size was not disclosed, reports suggest it could be over $500 million. Aviva's CEO, Doug Brown, emphasized that the extended partnership aims to improve customer service, simplify operations, and support growth ambitions. TCS, with over 45 years of operation in the UK, has a robust presence and collaborates with several well-known businesses in the region. The company, with more than 23,000 employees in the UK and Ireland, is among the region's largest IT employers.
