It is in this context that Samsung has now announced the pricing details for its latest foldable smartphones in India. It launched the sixth generation of the Galaxy Z series with a slew of improvements over their predecessors. Galaxy Z Flip6 comes in two variants: the 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage costs Rs 109,999, while the 12GB RAM variant with 512GB storage costs Rs 121,999.
The price of the Galaxy Z Fold6 for the 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage is Rs 164,999, while the 12GB RAM variant with 512GB storage comes for Rs 176,999. However, the company has also announced a special version dropping in a silver shadow color with 12GB RAM and 1TB storage priced at Rs 200,999.
Samsung has also introduced a 'Galaxy Z Assurance' program for pre-orders, under which two screen and parts replacements worth Rs 15,000 will be provided for Rs 999. There's a Rs 15,000 upgrade bonus for existing users of Samsung flagships.
According to JB Park, the President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, both Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 were manufactured here locally in Noida. Both smartphones featured integration into the AI-infused connected Galaxy ecosystem for an enhanced user experience.
The South Korean company also paraded an upgraded line of wearable devices. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is available in a 47mm size and has three colors: Titanium Gray, Titanium White, and Titanium Silver—at a price tag of Rs 59,999. There are a number of variants for the Galaxy Watch 7 series: Watch 7, 40 mm BT at Rs 29,999; Watch 7, 40 mm LTE at Rs 33,999; Watch 7, 44 mm BT at Rs 32,999; and Watch 7, 44 mm LTE at Rs 36,999 (including promotional offers).
Not to be left behind, Samsung also introduced some pretty high-end health monitoring features across devices, including a new Galaxy AI algorithm for sleep analysis, Electrocardiogram and Blood Pressure monitoring features.
For audio lovers, the price of the Galaxy Buds3 has been fixed at Rs 14,999, while that for the Buds3 Pro will be Rs 19,999.
All of these products—the Galaxy Z Fold6 and the Z Flip6, plus this entire range of wearable devices—hit the markets on July 24.
