Samsung has used AI computing in its laptops for the first time, and that too through the addition of a neural processing unit (NPU) that allows for smarter workflow and smoother multitasking. Among the most prominent features is AI Select, which operates like the "Circle to Search" feature, letting users get quick information at their fingertips with one click.

Then there's Photo Remaster, which leverages AI to enhance the quality of photos by making them sharper and clearer, making photo edits easier for users.

Beneath the hood, the Galaxy Book5 lineup runs on Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors, which provide up to 3x the AI computing performance and 40% less power consumption than earlier versions. These advances mean more intelligent workflows, longer battery life, and improved graphics performance. For example, the Galaxy Book5 Pro is able to charge up to 41% in 30 minutes and provides up to 25 hours of battery life.
