PUBG most downloaded mobile game globally in November 2021

Chinese technology conglomerate Tencent's PUBG Mobile game emerged as the most downloaded mobile  game for November2021 worldwide. It became top grossing mobile game across the world for Nov 2021, with $254 million in player spending, which represented nearly 46 per cent growth from November 2020. With an increase of 7%, approx $7.1 billion revenue from player spending was generated from the global mobile games market, in November 2021.

1. Tencent's PUBG Mobile game became the top grossing game worldwide for Nov 2021. In terms of revenue, estimated 66% was from China,7.3 per cent from Turkey and 6.8 percent from the US, reported Sensor Tower.

2. Other than PUBG Mobile game, another game called Genshin Impact from miHoYo became the second highest earning mobile game worldwide for November 2021, with about $207 million in gross revenue.

3. The third top grossing game was Honor of Kings from Tencent again, followed by Coin Master from Moon Active and Lineage W from NCSOFT.

4. Globally,with an increase of 7% in a year, the global mobile games market generated an approx $7.1 billion from player spending across the App Store and Google Play in November 2021.

5. Moreover,in India, PUBG Mobile and many other Chinese apps are banned  under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act.
