Oppo Introduces Reno 14 Pro 5G in India Featuring MediaTek Dimensity 8450

The Reno 14 Pro 5G is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, whereas the lower-end counterpart features the Dimensity 8350 SoC.

Oppo has grown its India smartphone portfolio with the launch of the Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G and the vanilla Reno 14 5G, announced on Thursday.

The Reno 14 Pro 5G is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, whereas the lower-end counterpart features the Dimensity 8350 SoC.

Although the two phones have a number of similarities, they vary in terms of battery size—6,200mAh for Pro and 6,000mAh for the standard.

Both phones feature a triple rear camera setup and also have 50-megapixel selfie cameras. Interestingly enough, these phones initially went on sale in China back in May.

Oppo Reno 14 Series Price in India
The Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G in India starts at ₹49,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB model. The top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage is available for ₹54,999. Consumers can opt for two colours: Pearl White and Titanium Grey.

While the Oppo Reno 14 5G begins at ₹37,999 for the starting model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Prices for the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants are ₹39,999 and ₹42,999, respectively. The variant comes in Forest Green and Pearl White color options.

The two phones will become available in India from July 8 through Oppo's official store, Amazon, and other select retail stores.

Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G: Specifications and Features
The Reno 14 Pro 5G features a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution (1,272x2,800 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The screen also has glove and splash touch support. It is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC and features 12GB of RAM with capacity options up to 512GB.

Out-of-the-box, the handset runs ColorOS 15.0.2 based on Android 15. It incorporates several AI capabilities such as Google Gemini integration, AI Unblur, AI Recompose, AI Mind Space, and AI Call Assistant.

Imaging-wise, the Reno 14 Pro 5G has a triple-camera setup at the rear—consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with up to 3.5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It has support for 4K HDR recording at 60fps. On the front, there is a 50-megapixel sensor for video calls and selfies.

The device has a 6,200mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging. Connectivity features 5G, 4G, dual nano-SIM with eSIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C. The phone supports dual stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint, and IP66/IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating. The weight of the device is 201 grams. The Titanium Grey variant is 163.35 x 76.98 x 7.48mm thick, whereas the Pearl White variant is marginally thicker at 7.58mm.

Oppo Reno 14 5G: Specifications and Features
The basic Reno 14 5G features a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display. The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip powers the phone. It comes with a 6,000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging but not wireless charging.

The software experience is the same as the Pro model, running on Android 15-based ColorOS 15.0.2 with the same AI features and connectivity specifications. The camera setup is the same as the Pro model but replaces the 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with an 8-megapixel sensor. The front camera continues to be a 50-megapixel sensor.
