Global Outage Hits Musk's X: Disruptions Reported Worldwide, Including in India

According to the outage monitoring website DownDetector, more than 64% of users encountered problems while using the application, 29% while using the website, and 7% reported server connection issues.

On Thursday, Twitter, now referred to as X, experienced a widespread outage globally, including in India. Users reported issues such as an inability to see comments, view profiles, tweets, and other functionalities on the micro-blogging platform.

According to the outage monitoring website DownDetector, more than 64% of users encountered problems while using the application, 29% while using the website, and 7% reported server connection issues.

In India, major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Patna, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai faced significant disruptions with the X platform.

Users took to the platform to express their frustrations. One user complained, "Anyone else having problems with Twitter? Glitches? Your own tweets and tweets of others not showing? I also had like hundreds of articles bookmarked to read later. All disappeared. Lol. I’m so mad about that."

"Twitter is flipping out on me and not loading on mobile, is anyone else experiencing problems?," inquired another user.

Expressing concern, a user mentioned, "I can't see anybody's replies right now... am I in Twitter jail? Or is everyone having those problems? Is Twitter down or damaged?"
