Elon Musk Announces Full-Length Movie Uploads on X, Teases 'AI Audiences' Feature

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk posted that subscribers will have the ability to share and monetize their content on one of his platforms. Commenting on his sister Tosca Musk, who is the co-founder of streaming service Passionflix, Elon Musk said users can upload their full-length movies, TV series, or podcasts on the platform and share revenues through subscriptions.

“Post your movies, TV series or podcasts on this platform and monetise by turning on subscriptions,” Elon encouraged.

Tosca expressed her delight, stating,  “Love that people are watching my movies here on X.”

A user proposed allowing the posting of films with a one-time purchase option to broaden accessibility. “This way people can buy the movie without having to buy a subscription. X becomes a genuine movie platform."

They also added that there is a serious need to revamp the video playback mechanism of the platform. “X would need a seriously revamped video-playing mechanism though. Would love to see that happen,” another user commented.

Along with this exciting feature, Elon also had the news of 'AI Audiences' in store.

“Briefly describe the target audience for your ads and our AI systems will generate a pool of the most relevant X users to target in seconds,” Elon explained, hinting at the impending arrival of this innovative tool.
