PUBG Mobile before Diwali announced that the game is going to re-launch in India soon. But it looks like the gaming enthusiasts will have to wait more. FAU-G, PUBG Mobile’s Indian alternative has already started its pre-registration on the Google Play Store whereas the PUBG Mobile India game has not even been given a green signal from the Indian government.
The directors of PUBG Mobile India are “clueless” about when the game is going to launch here, according to Media reports.
An InsideSport report quoted a former director from PUBG Mobile India as saying that the current directors at the company are clueless about the relaunch of the game, according to a report in InsideSport.
“No one knows the real timelines for the Mobile version comeback in India, not even the Promoters or Directors. When the government bans something, resumption can only happen via their orders,” the report states.
PUBG Mobile India officials reportedly tried to fix a meeting with the government but could not manage it because the government is yet to respond to their request.
It's been a while now that PUBG Mobile India’s launch plans have been stuck and they cannot proceed unless they are allowed by the government to do so.
What we know so far is that the game going to be customised for the country and for starters, it will be available for Android devices only.
There have been certain reports indicating that the game is going to release in early 2021 and not any time soon.
