Emerging women's singles badminton player Anmol Kharb showcased an exceptional performance to secure the national title at the 85th Senior National Badminton Championships 2023. In a gripping final, Anmol overcame Punjab's Tanvi Sharma with a remarkable 15-21, 21-17, 16-8 victory.

In the men's singles final, unseeded Chirag Sen caused an upset by securing the national title against fourth-seeded Tharun M of Telangana. Chirag won 21-14, 13-21, 21-9, making a fantastic comeback in the decider with well-timed strokes.

The mixed doubles summit clash saw the pairing of Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto, recently crowned Odisha Masters 2023 champions, dominating the match and securing their maiden national title by defeating Nitin Kumar and Navdha Manglam 21-13, 21-8.

In the women's doubles final, Priya Devi Konjengbam and Shruti Mishra claimed victory with a come-from-behind 11-21, 21-14, 21-18 win over Ritika Thaker and Simran Singhi in a thrilling hour and 11 minutes encounter.

The men's doubles final witnessed an intense battle, with K Pruthvi Roy and Suraj Goala causing an upset by defeating Krishna Prasad Garaga and Vishnuvardhan Goud Panjala 20-22, 24-22, 21-14. The closely contested match saw the duo of Pruthvi and Suraj bounce back after conceding the opening game to secure the national title.
