Every cricket-loving Indian is aware of MS Dhoni’s heroics when it comes to batting and wicketkeeping but very few of them would be aware of the fact that Dhoni turned a bowler during a match against West Indies in 2009 ICC Champions Trophy and clean bowled Travis Dowlin.
In that match, Dhoni handed over his keeping gloves to Dinesh Kartik and decided to try his luck as a bowler. He succeeded in claiming his first and the only ODI wicket of his career.

Dhoni took the risk of bowling because West Indies were really struggling at that stage as they had 49 runs on board and their top four batters had returned to the pavilion. In his ODI career, Dhoni bowled a total of 6 overs and claimed 1 wicket at an average of 31.
