Suryavanshi made history with 101 off just 42 balls, including 11 sixes and 7 fours. He became the youngest-ever centurion in IPL history at only 14 years and 32 days, breaking the previous record of Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant, and Devdutt Padikkal. His century is the second-fastest IPL century ever (and only Chris Gayle in 30 balls has a faster one), and also the fastest Indian century, surpassing the previous record of 37 balls by Yusuf Pathan.

Gujarat Titans had posted a competitive 209/4 in their 20 overs, led by Shubman Gill's 84, Jos Buttler's fifty (50*), and quickfire 39 from Sai Sudharsan in the first innings.

In reply, Suryavanshi started in style by hitting a six off the first ball from Mohammed Siraj. Rajasthan's chase started to look difficult when Jaiswal misread a short ball but Buttler, continuing to have a bad day behind the stumps, couldn't take another chance to get him out. Jaiswal then came back with a six, with Suryavanshi starting to go hard.

Suryavanshi went hard at experienced Ishant Sharma and smashed him for 28 runs in the fourth over, with three sixes and two fours. He then compounded the attack against debutant Karim Janat, smashing a 30 run over, hitting three fours and three sixes.

While Suryavanshi had all the fireworks with his innings, Jaiswal quietly scored his half-century off 31 balls, and the two set a record 166-run partnership, the highest for any wicket in RR history. Suryavanshi was finally out bowled by Prasidh Krishna, who yorked him with a ball that decimated the stumps.

Although Suryavanshi had left, Nitish Rana (4) was soon LBWed by Rashid Khan, raising eyebrows among the RR followers. Still, Jaiswal didn't lose his cool, guiding his team to a win with a calm innings.

Earlier, Gujarat's top order, led by Gill, Sudharsan, and Buttler, had laid a good platform, but Rajasthan's bowlers, particularly Maheesh Theekshana (2/35), restricted the run rate. Although there were some early drops, the Royals finally broke through, with Theekshana getting rid of Sudharsan and Gill in the same manner.

Buttler and Washington Sundar (13) kept the scoreboard rolling with a pair of sixes in the 18th over. Buttler, with a perfectly timed half-century off only 26 balls, remained unbeaten and provided Gujarat with a fighting total of 209/4.
