Shreyas Iyer Included in Mumbai Squad for Ranji Trophy Game Against Andhra

Iyer replaces middle-order batter Sarfaraz Khan, who will join the India A team for the series against England A in Ahmedabad.

Shreyas Iyer, the India batter, has been included in the Mumbai squad for their upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Andhra scheduled from January 12-15. This selection follows his challenging performance with the bat during India’s Test series in South Africa, and he aims to regain form ahead of the Tests against England starting January 25.

Iyer replaces middle-order batter Sarfaraz Khan, who will join the India A team for the series against England A in Ahmedabad. However, Mumbai will miss the services of all-rounder Shivam Dube, as he has been called up to the national team for the imminent three-match series against Afghanistan beginning January 11.
