A specially-constructed open-top bus parade will celebrate India's journey to their second T20 World Cup victory in Mumbai. The champions will now meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the morning, flying to Mumbai for an afternoon roadshow from Nariman Point to the Wankhede Stadium. It will be a dazzling spectacle organized by the BCCI in celebration of the team's triumph.
Spectators will be put to no risk as police in Mumbai have announced that they will leave nothing to chance with stringent security measures along the route and diversions in place for traffic during the race. It was evidence enough that MS Dhoni had managed to resurrect the team on the world stage, especially considering his role in leading the Indian team to their previous ICC triumphs at the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy.
