India's new brigade of quick bowling talent, Mayank Yadav, is all set to play the IPL match tomorrow with Lucknow Super Giants against Mumbai Indians having fully recovered from his recent lower abdominal strain.
Mayank, who has been the purveyor of thunderous deliveries leaving the batsmen in pieces at more than 155 kmph, won consecutive 'Player of the Match' awards in the opening two games of the season. However, his purple patch came to a grinding halt when he strained after bowling just one over in the third game.
After undergoing an intense three-week rehabilitation programme, the 21-year-old has returned to full fitness.
"Mayank has passed all fitness tests in flying colours, and we're really happy to have him back in the squad for tomorrow's game," said Morkel during a pre-match press conference.
So far, Mayank has taken six wickets in three games, which could be a clear indication of the potential of the young sensation on the field.
