Former Indian cricketing legend and ICC Global Ambassador, Sachin Tendulkar, on Tuesday shared some inspiring words with the history-making Afghanistan cricketers ahead of their pivotal clash against Australia in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
Afghanistan's remarkable journey in the ongoing CWC has positioned them at the sixth spot with eight points, placing their destiny firmly within their grasp as they aim for a groundbreaking entry into the semi-finals.
This accomplishment comes in stark contrast to their previous World Cup history, which had seen them win just a solitary match before this tournament. In this edition, Afghanistan has displayed exceptional prowess, securing victories in four of their seven matches, an impressive three of them consecutively.
