Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Afghanistan's mystery spinner, returned to the auction at Rs 2 crore and was successfully roped in by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), adding depth to their spin department alongside Narine and Chakravarthy.

The spotlight then shifted to the aggressive batsman from Jharkhand, Robin Minz. Gujarat Titans engaged in a spirited bidding war, securing Minz for a notable Rs 3.6 crore, marking a significant moment in his cricketing journey.

Jhathavedh Subramanyan's unique background, from playing for Hong Kong to being an SRH net bowler, added an international flair to the proceedings as he was secured by SRH for his base price.

West Indies' Shai Hope joined Delhi Capitals (DC) at Rs 75 lakh, adding power to their batting lineup, while U-19 wicketkeeper Avanish Rao Aravelly landed with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at his base price of 20 lakh.

RCB secured the services of TNPL standout Swapnil Singh for his base price of 20 lakh, enhancing their squad's depth, while Rajasthan Royals (RR) acquired Nandre Burger, the South African fast bowler, for Rs 50 lakh, possibly as a backup for Boult.

The auction's conclusion left each team with a distinctive blend of talent, setting the stage for riveting cricketing tales to unfold in the upcoming Indian Premier League.
