Mayank, the pace sensation of the Lucknow Super Giants, encountered a setback during the match against the Gujarat Titans at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday. After completing his first over, Mayank suffered a side strain, compelling him to leave the field promptly.
It was during the third over of the inning that Mayank felt the strain, immediately after finishing his initial over. Understanding the severity of the situation, he made the tough decision to step out of the game. In his absence, Deepak Hooda stepped in as a substitute fielder.
Observers noted that Mayank's pace seemed slightly subdued, barely touching 140kph during his brief appearance on the field. Unfortunately, it became apparent that he wouldn't be able to continue bowling his remaining overs.
