Darshan Nalkande's dismissal added to the Titans' woes, as Krunal claimed his third wicket, leaving the Titans with a daunting asking rate of 12 runs per over.

Lucknow Super Giants finished with a total of 163 for 5 in 20 overs, with Marcus Stoinis top-scoring with 58 runs. In response, Gujarat Titans managed 130 runs, with Sudarshan and Rahul Tewatia contributing 31 and 30 runs respectively. Thakur's exceptional performance earned him the best IPL figures for Lucknow and made him the first Indian to claim a five-wicket haul for the team. The victory was a significant boost for Lucknow as they continue their IPL campaign.
