Ind vs Aus, Sydney Test: 4 Players who saved the day for India with their brilliant performances 

Trailing by 309 runs at the beginning of day 5, the Indian team lost Ajinkya Rahane early to Nathon Lyon’s delivery, but the Partnership of Pujara-Pant’ heroics and Vihari-Ashwin’ reselience helped India to lead 3rd test into a draw

Indian team managed to draw the third test match against Australia with a brilliant performance on day 5 at Sydney Cricket Ground. India scored 334 runs for 5 wickets that ended the 5 day test match into a draw.

Trailing by 309 runs at the beginning of day 5, the Indian team lost Ajinkya Rahane early to Nathon Lyon’s delivery,
and it appeared as if India was going to face defeat in this match.

However following 4 palyers refused to give up and put on brilliant performances that helped India save the test match-

1. Cheteshwar Pujara scored a brilliant 77 runs off 205 balls hitting 12 fours, but pujara got bowled to Josh Hazelwood’s beauty in the 88th over.

2. Rishabh Pant who faced criticism over his keeping skills in the past few matches slammed a beautiful knock agianst the Australian bowlers almost hitting a century. He scored a remarkable 97 off 118 deliveries which consisted of 12 fours and 3 sixes.

 The partnership of Pant and Pujara, at one point looked set for an improbable win but Pant fell to Nathon layon’s delivery getting caught by Pat Cummins.

3. Hanuma Vihari who was limping for his major part of the innings, remained unbeaten after scoring 23 runs off 161 balls.

4. Ravichandran Ashwin, The veteran spinner showed his experience with an unbeaten 39-run knock of 128 balls to take India to a memorable draw.

 Vihari andAshwin, batted for more than three hours, despite the former suffering a hamstring injury.

However, Josh Hazlewood put in a noteworthy display for Australia, registering two dismissals. Meanwhile, Lyon also scalped two wickets. The four-match Test series is currently level at 1-1, with the final match set to begin from January 15.
